Hi, I’m Alisha. I love bringing people together around the mahjong table and helping new players learn in a relaxed, social environment. My goal is to make the game approachable, enjoyable and easy to continue playing long after the lesson ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
What days and times are private lessons available?
Your group of four or more can come up with a few days and times that work for everyone and email them to Alisha. She will let you know which options work best for her schedule.
What if we don’t have a table, mahjong set or cards?
No problem! Alisha can bring a four-person card table—or two if needed—along with a mahjong set and National Mah Jongg League cards. You will also have the option to buy the cards from her at the end of the lesson. Alisha can provide guidance on buying your own table and mahjong set as well. To purchase your own card beforehand, visit the National Mah Jongg League website.
How do I know which package is right for my group?
If at least one person in your group has some experience, the Crak package is likely the best option. If everyone is new, choose Crak, Bam. New groups that want deeper instruction and strategy should choose Crak, Bam, Dot.
Can I receive a discount for a party of eight or more people?
Request a Lesson to learn about special offers and accommodations for larger groups.
